Jill Aveson has served as the Director of Human Resources at Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia for over 26 years. Dedicated to the success of the independent school model, Jill firmly believes that a positive workplace culture is key to educational excellence. In addition to her work in the independent school environment, Jill has worked in both the manufacturing and insurance industries to create an environment where employees can thrive. Jill earned her BS in Psychology and Business and her MBA from the University of Richmond and has her SPHR designation. In addition, this year she serves as the head of the NBOA's HR Council.
